Meshack is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Promotion at Queens University under the supervision of Dr. Elijah Bisung. He holds a Master of Public Health degree from McGill University. He previously worked as a health promotor with the Cree Health Board, where he focused on infectious diseases and quality improvement. His interests include applied public health research, social determinants of health, autoimmune diseases (global burden and diseases transmission) and the evaluation of large-scale interventions. His Doctoral research focuses on exploring the long-term direct (health utilization) and indirect (impaired productivity) cost of adult-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). For his non-academic interest, Meshack enjoys dancing and trying different international foods.
