Fourth Year Student, BSc (Honours) Psychology and Health Studies, Queen’s University
I am a fourth-year psychology student, with a minor in health studies and have a passion to advocate for health equity. I gained my first experience in health promotion among Dr. Masuda’s class and later, working alongside a CEHE Master’s student. Currently, I am contributing to the CEHE as an undergraduate student pursuing a ‘special project’ with the M’Wikwedong Urban Energy Transitions study. I look forward performing an extensive literature review and environmental scan of the Owen Sound’s Indigenous community that will subsequently inform my HEIA . This HEIA will address and anticipate the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead for the M’Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre and similar organizations.
My aspirations for the future include pursuing Clinical Psychology with a specific emphasis on childhood development and/ or Indigenous youth.
